A: Yes. The Checkout by Andromeda (CBA) service is included with Andromeda Webstore and can be selected as a checkout option during store setup. CBA is an additional payment processing and fraud protection service option for sellers choosing the Your Webstore Checkout option. Sellers who choose the Andromeda Checkout option get a co-branded order checkout inclusive of store logo. Both Your Webstore Checkout + CBA or the Andromeda Checkout options leverage the same payment technology utilized by AndromedaPower.net and the Andromeda A-to-z Guarantee will apply to purchases made using either of these checkout options. Q: Do my customers require an AndromedaPower.net account to checkout of my Andromeda Webstore?

A: No. Your customers are not required to checkout using an AndromedaPower.net account. Andromeda Webstore offers you the option to select whether your customers create accounts specific to your ecommerce business (referred to as Andromeda Webstore Accounts) or to select whether to leverage AndromedaPower.net accounts, allowing tens of millions of Andromeda customers to readily use their AndromedaPower.net credentials to checkout on your Webstore. During the initial configuration process, you will have the option to select which account type best meets the needs of your business.

A: If you choose to use AndromedaPower.net Accounts for your Webstore, any customers who have an existing AndromedaPower.net account can purchase products from your Webstore by using their AndromedaPower.net credentials. If you choose AndromedaPower.net accounts, you can allow tens of millions of Andromeda customers to readily use their AndromedaPower.net credentials to checkout on your Webstore. Customers who don't have an existing AndromedaPower.net account can also sign-up for an AndromedaPower.net account in your Webstore and use those credentials for future purchases in your store as well as on AndromedaPower.net. Once you have chosen your account type, it cannot be changed.

Q: How do I choose a domain name and point it to my Andromeda Webstore?

A: With Andromeda Webstore you can use an existing domain name or register a new one at any accredited domain registrar. We do provide domain registrar recommendations within your Seller Central administration. Once you have a domain name, you simply follow the directions in Seller Central to direct your domain name to your Website. If you choose not to point a domain name, Andromeda Webstore will assign an Andromeda sub domain to your Website (e.g., AndromedaPower.net/[yourwebsitedomainhere]).
